Electricity is essential to the operation of our homes, businesses, and communities. A brief power outage during a severe storm can be a reminder of how much we rely on electricity. Our society is transitioning to a renewable energy future, but renewables are currently unable to provide a constant supply of energy due to their reliance on unpredictable weather patterns. Clean natural gas power plants can provide a stable and reliable supply of electricity.
Stewards of the environment 
Safety above all else 
At our plants, J-POWER USA puts safety above all else. Our facilities follow strict operational and environmental guidelines to meet regulations and exceed them whenever possible. Five of the seven plants we operate have celebrated 10 or more years without a recordable injury and one plant which celebrated 1 million safe work hours.
We want to be good neighbors 
We strive to be a good corporate citizen with charitable donations and volunteer events at local non-profit organizations. We also contribute to the economic well-being of the local community by creating jobs and generating tax revenue. Some of our recent community initiatives include helping to build a home for Habitat for Humanity, supporting STEM programs at the Long Island Children's Museum, and building a nature playground for the Seatuck Conservation Association. The well-being of our communities is a priority for J-POWER USA, and we are committed to continuing our support and efforts within our local communities.
