Our goal is to identify and resolve potential problems before they happen. We make it a priority to:
Communicate a safety policy that sets forth vision and values
Ensure continuous improvement through the use of our annual SIP program. (Safety Improvement plan)
Focus pre-work planning on risk identification, analysis and reduction
Invest in safety improvements, employee education and preventative maintenance

Commitment to go beyond compliance to achieve workplace safety
The Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) is offered by the Occupational safety and health administration (OSHA). This is the official recognition of the outstanding effort of employers and employees who have achieved exemplary occupational safety and health. Less than 1 % of companies in the United States achieved this recognition. The J-POWER USA fleet currently has 3 facilities with the VPP star distinction, the highest certification that OHSA grants.
